Yangming Elementary School began in 1959 as Lunbei Elementary School's Shuiwei branch. In 2024, it was transformed into "創思實驗小學" (Creative Thinking Experimental School), becoming Yunlin County's 5th public experimental elementary school — and notably, the first experimental school established within a Zhang-Zhou Hoklo (詔安客) community.
