Taichung Municipal Longjin Senior High School

Longjin Senior High School opened in 2001 as a junior high school, established to relieve overcrowding and traffic-safety concerns in Longjing District as new residential development spread near Taichung Harbor. In 2017, the school was upgraded to a complete secondary school offering both junior and senior high education, becoming Taichung's tenth municipal complete secondary school. Its creation reflects the district's transformation from a quiet coastal town into a fast-growing bedroom community for the wider Taichung metropolitan area.

龍津高中創立於民國90年（2001年），最初為國中部，設校目的是為紓解龍井區因台中港週邊新興住宅開發而日益嚴重的學生擁擠與交通安全問題。民國106年（2017年），學校升格為兼具國中部與高中部的完全中學，成為台中市第十所市立完全中學。學校的設立過程，見證了龍井區從寧靜濱海小鎮轉變為大台中都會區快速成長之衛星城鎮的歷程。
