A school built for smaller classes.
Liubao Elementary opened in 2003, making it one of the newest schools in Daya District. It was created under Taiwan's "small class, small school" (小班小校) policy, a nationwide push in the early 2000s to keep class sizes manageable and build new neighborhood schools closer to residential growth, rather than expanding older, larger campuses indefinitely.
