A branch school that spun off its own branch.
Linzuo Elementary was founded in 1942 as a Japanese-era branch school and became independent in 1945. The school later spun off its own branch, Mingde Elementary, in 1959. Linzuo's own school history notes that its Linzuo/Lindong catchment area is made up mostly of farming and fishing households, a description that captures the blended character of this part of Sihu Township.
