Jiu'an Elementary School

Jiu'an Elementary began in 1957 as a modest two-class branch of Gouba Elementary School, becoming an independent school in 1960. That gradual growth from a small rural outpost reflects the steady expansion of education around Douliu in the postwar decades. Today the school offers social-emotional learning (SEL) alongside mother-tongue language instruction, rounding out its academic program with attention to students' emotional development and linguistic heritage.

久安國小創校於民國46年（1957年），最初是溝壩國小的兩班分校，民國49年（1960年）獨立設校。這段從鄉間小型分校逐步成長的歷程，反映了戰後斗六周邊教育體系穩步擴張的過程。如今學校開設社會情緒學習（SEL）課程，並重視母語教學，在學科教育之外，同樣關注學生的情緒發展與語言文化傳承。
