Jinhe Senior High School was founded in 1990 as Jinhe Junior High School. It expanded into a complete secondary school in 2000, and today runs both a regular day division and a continuing-education division. In 2024 the school rebranded itself as an "AI + Technology High School," reflecting a push to bring artificial intelligence and technology education into its curriculum. Its name comes from the surrounding Jinhe area, near Yuantong Temple (圓通寺) and Jinhe Sports Park — a corner of Zhonghe where old temple-anchored settlements meet newer civic infrastructure.
錦和高中創立於民國79年（1990年），前身為錦和國中。民國89年（2000年）發展為完全中學，如今設有日間部與進修部。2024年，學校轉型為「AI科技高中」，將人工智慧與科技教育帶入課程規劃。校名源自鄰近的錦和地區，緊鄰圓通寺與錦和運動公園——這裡是中和廟宇聚落與現代公共建設交會之處。
