Jingxiu Elementary School

Jingxiu Elementary began in October 1951 as the Nanping branch campus (南平分校) of Yuanlin Town's First National School, named after the old local place name "Nanping Village" (南平庄). It became an independent school in August 1953, under the name "Changhua County Yuanlin Town Jingxiu National School." The school was renamed to its current name, Jingxiu, in 1968. It later added a class for hearing-impaired students in 1986, a kindergarten in 1994, and a supplementary school in 1996 — steadily expanding its role in the community.

靜修國小前身為員林鎮第一國民學校的南平分校，於民國40年（1951年）10月設立，校名取自舊地名「南平庄」。民國42年（1953年）8月獨立設校，定名為「彰化縣員林鎮靜修國民學校」。民國57年（1968年）更名為現今的「靜修國小」。此後陸續增設啟聰班（1986年）、幼稚園（1994年）與補校（1996年），持續擴展在地服務範圍。
