Dongren Junior High traces its origins to 1988, when planning began under the working name "Huwei Third Junior High School." The school was formally named Dongren Junior High in 2002 and finally became operational in 2006, after nearly two decades in preparation. Today it is known for its bilingual education and arts programs, serving families in the center of Huwei Town.
東仁國中的籌設可追溯至民國77年(1988年),當時暫定校名為「虎尾第三國民中學」。學校於民國91年(2002年)正式定名為東仁國中,並在民國95年(2006年)正式招生開學,歷經近二十年的籌備過程。如今學校以雙語教育與藝術課程聞名,服務虎尾鎮市中心的學子。
