Huiwen Senior High School

Huiwen Senior High School opened in 2000 as a complete junior-and-senior high school serving students from grade 7 through grade 12 — purpose-built for Taichung's 7th Redevelopment Zone (七期), a newly planned district in Nantun. It was raised alongside its twin campus, Huiwen Elementary School, forming a deliberate “core cultural-education block” at the center of the new zone. Where much of Nantun's older identity centers on the historic Litoudian (犁頭店) old street a few kilometers away, Huiwen Senior High represents the district's thoroughly modern, master-planned face.

惠文高中創立於民國89年（2000年），是為台中市南屯區七期重劃區規劃興建的完全中學，招收國中部至高中部（七至十二年級）學生。學校與姊妹校惠文國小同時興建，共同構成七期重劃區核心的「文教專用區」。相對於南屯歷史悠久、以犁頭店老街為代表的舊聚落，惠文高中代表著這片新興重劃區的現代規劃樣貌。
