Hualong Elementary School

Hualong Elementary began in August 1966 as the "Hsiushui Elementary School Hualong Branch," becoming fully independent in August 1971 under founding principal Chen Jiahuang. The school graduated its first class of 76 students in 1977. Its library, established in 1979, was named a model library for Changhua County in 1984. A computer classroom followed in 1994 and network connectivity in 1998, and the campus underwent earthquake-resistant reinforcement in 2010. Over the years, local community members have funded scholarships and matching capital-improvement grants, reflecting the community's ongoing investment in the school.

華龍國小前身為民國55年（1966年）8月成立的「秀水國小華龍分校」，於民國60年（1971年）8月在創校校長陳家煌帶領下正式獨立設校。民國66年（1977年）畢業第一屆76名學生。學校圖書館於民國68年（1979年）成立，並於民國73年（1984年）獲選為彰化縣模範圖書館。民國83年（1994年）增設電腦教室，民國87年（1998年）完成網路連線，民國99年（2010年）進行校舍耐震補強工程。多年來，地方社區人士持續捐助獎學金並協助爭取設施改善配合款，展現社區對學校的長期支持。
