Fengyang Junior High School was established in 1996 and welcomed its first students in 1998, making it the newest junior high school in Fengyuan. Sited on the district's easternmost edge, it is popularly said to be "the first place in Fengyuan to see the sunrise" — a claim its name, meaning "Fengyuan Sunlight," celebrates directly. The school also runs a competitive sports class alongside its regular academic program.
豐陽國中創立於民國85年（1996年），民國87年（1998年）招收首屆學生，是豐原地區最新設立的國中。校址位於豐原區最東側，坊間相傳這裡是「全豐原最早迎接朝陽之地」——校名「豐陽」正是直接呼應這項美譽。學校除一般學科教育外，也開設體育競技班。
