Fengming Junior High School

Fengming Junior High began preparations in 1989 as an annex of Yingge Junior High, formally opening its own enrollment in 1997 as the Fengming area — near the Taoyuan and Bade border — grew rapidly without a junior high of its own. The school has since won the New Taipei “Reading Cornerstone Award – Special Excellence,” one of the region's top honors for school reading culture, and its campus includes a weather-protected, covered sports ground that lets students train regardless of rain.

鳳鳴國中於民國78年（1989年）以鶯歌國中分部形式籌備，86年（1997年）正式招生設校。當時鄰近桃園與八德交界的鳳鳴地區人口快速成長，卻沒有專屬的國中，因而設校因應。學校日後榮獲新北市「閱讀磐石獎特優」，是地區學校閱讀推廣的最高榮譽之一，校內並建有具遮雨功能的風雨操場，讓學生不受天候影響持續訓練。
