Taichung Municipal Dongshan Senior High School

Dongshan Senior High School traces its roots to 1970, when it opened as the Jungong branch of Taichung Municipal Sixth Junior High School (臺中市立第六國民中學軍功分部) in the hilly Jungong area of Beitun District. Around 2009, the school was upgraded into a complete school (完全中學) spanning both junior high and senior high divisions. Its original campus, sited near a geological fault line, was destroyed in the catastrophic 921 earthquake of 1999 — the school was rebuilt at a new location, and today serves roughly 3,274 students across 97 classes.

東山高中源起於民國59年（1970年），最初以「臺中市立第六國民中學軍功分部」之名，在北屯區軍功山區設立分部。約民國98年（2009年）前後，學校改制為橫跨國中部與高中部的「完全中學」。原校舍因座落於斷層帶附近，於民國88年（1999年）的921大地震中震毀，其後於現址重建，如今全校約有3,274名學生，分為97個班級。
