Deyin Elementary opened in 1989, with enrollment beginning in 1991, as part of Wugu District's late-1980s suburban expansion when Taipei-adjacent development pushed into the area. The school established a dedicated physical-education class in 2007 and has built a strong record in academic competition, taking first and second place nationally at the National Science Fair in 2014 and 2015.
德音國小於民國78年（1989年）成立，民國80年（1991年）開始招生，是五股區1980年代末因鄰近台北都會發展外溢而興建的新興學校之一。學校於民國96年（2007年）成立體育班，並在學術競賽上表現亮眼，於民國103至104年（2014至2015年）連續兩年榮獲全國科學展覽會第一名與第二名的佳績。
