Dayeh University was founded in 1990 as Dayeh Institute of Technology by educator Song Gen-yeh, explicitly modeled on the German polytechnic tradition of combining rigorous theory with hands-on practical training. It was upgraded to full university status in 1997 and renamed Dayeh University. Today it offers programs across seven colleges, with its College of Management running English-taught bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs aimed at international students.
大葉大學創立於民國79年（1990年），由教育家宋根深創辦，初名大葉工學院，辦學理念仿效德國應用科技大學傳統，強調理論與實務並重。民國86年（1997年）改制升格為大學，更名為大葉大學。現今設有七大學院，其中管理學院開設全英語授課的學士、碩士、博士學程，招收國際學生。
