Daren Elementary School began in 1980 as a branch campus called "Zhongren," becoming independent in 1983 as part of Xitun's mid-century wave of school "branch-to-independence" splits driven by population growth near Chongqing Road. The school is a source of enduring pride for winning the Little League World Series championship in Williamsport in 1991.
大仁國小於民國69年（1980年）以「中仁」分校形式成立，民國72年（1983年）獨立設校，是西屯區因重慶路一帶人口成長而出現的「分校升格獨立」浪潮之一。學校最為人津津樂道的是民國80年（1991年）勇奪美國威廉波特世界少棒賽冠軍。
