Dade Elementary was established in 2000, splitting off from neighboring Zhongzheng Elementary School to serve Wuqi's growing school-age population — making it the youngest of the district's elementary schools. In 2024, the school opened a new activity center deliberately designed around an ocean motif, an architectural nod to Wuqi's identity as Taichung's historic port town.
大德國小創立於民國89年（2000年），自鄰近的中正國小分設而出，以因應梧棲地區日益成長的學齡人口，是全區最年輕的國小。民國113年（2024年），學校啟用一棟以「海洋」為設計主題的新活動中心，呼應梧棲身為台中歷史港鎮的地方意象。
