Six decades of vocational and technical education.
Chien Kuo Technology University traces its history back to October 1965, when it was established as Chienkuo Commercial Junior College. The school was renamed and reorganized several times over the following decades — becoming an industrial junior college in 1974, then a combined industrial-and-commercial junior college in 1992 — before being upgraded to Chienkuo Institute of Technology in 1999. It reached full university status in 2004, taking its current name, Chienkuo Technology University.
