Chenping Elementary was founded in 1997 to serve the Zhongping and Chenping neighborhoods near the Shuinan and Houzhuang areas of Beitun District. The school has since broken ground on a joint school-gymnasium and community-activity-center project, reflecting its role as both an educational and civic anchor for its growing planned neighborhood.
