Chenglong Elementary sits beside the Chenglong Wetlands on Yunlin's coast, and has built its entire identity around that setting. Branded the "Wetland Classroom," the school runs an environmental and ecology education program that uses the surrounding tidal flats and fishponds as an outdoor learning space, giving students a close-up view of the coastal ecosystem right outside their door.
