Changyi Senior High School

Taichung Municipal Changyi Senior High School opened in 1990 as a junior high school in the Chang'yi development area of Taiping District, expanding to include a senior high division in 1999. The school today enrolls roughly 1,494 students across 49 classes, spanning junior and senior high on one continuous campus. It launched an art-talent program in 1996 and, more recently, a bilingual experimental class in 2019, alongside competitive fencing, karate, and track and field teams. The school was created as the Taiping area's population approached 500,000 residents without a public senior high school of its own — a milestone in the district's transformation from rural township into a populous Taichung suburb.

臺中市立長億高級中學創校於民國79年（1990年），最初以長億重劃區內的國中部起家，於民國88年（1999年）增設高中部。現今全校約有1,494名學生、49個班級，涵蓋國中、高中一貫的完整校園。學校於民國85年（1996年）成立美術資優班，近年又於民國108年（2019年）開設雙語實驗班，並發展擊劍、空手道、田徑等競技隊伍。長億高中的創立，正值太平地區人口逼近50萬卻仍無公立高中之際，象徵太平從純樸鄉鎮轉型為台中人口稠密衛星市鎮的重要里程碑。
