Chang'yi Elementary School was established in 2003 and opened to students in 2005. Its roughly three-hectare campus holds 64 classrooms, and the school shares its ‘Chang'yi’ name and lineage with the neighboring Changyi Senior High School, both named for the same Chang'yi development area of Taiping District.
長億國小創立於民國92年（2003年），民國94年（2005年）正式開學招生。校地約三公頃，共有64間教室，校名與鄰近的長億高中相同，皆取自太平區同一個長億重劃區。
