Bitou Elementary School

Bitou Elementary was founded in 1921 as a branch of Jiufen Elementary, and celebrated its centennial in 2021. In 1946, it absorbed the Nanya branch of Jinguashi Elementary, consolidating education for the coastal fishing communities nearby. Perched above the dramatic sea cliffs of Bitou Cape on Ruifang's northeast coast, it is often called "Taiwan's most beautiful seaside elementary school," embodying the fishing-village life distinct from the district's inland mining towns.

鼻頭國小創立於1921年，最初為九份國小的分校，並於2021年慶祝建校百週年。1946年，學校併入金瓜石國小的南雅分校，整合了鄰近漁村聚落的教育資源。學校座落於瑞芳東北角鼻頭角壯麗的海蝕崖上方，常被譽為「臺灣最美麗的海邊小學」，展現了有別於內陸礦業聚落的漁村生活風貌。
