A new campus after a concrete-quality scare.
Bihua Junior High School was established in 1977 as Sanchong's fourth junior high, built to absorb the district's continuing population growth. In more recent years its original buildings were found to contain high-chloride "sea sand" concrete, a defect affecting a number of older Taiwanese school buildings, prompting a full relocation. The school moved into a newly built campus dedicated on April 25, 2021, and today enrolls more than 1,300 students across roughly 45 classes.
