Bihua Elementary School

Bihua Elementary was founded on August 1, 1973, under its first principal, Cheng Chao, splitting off from neighboring Houde Elementary as Sanchong's population continued its postwar surge. That surge proved so intense that by 1979 Bihua had reportedly grown into Taiwan's second-largest elementary school, with a staggering 9,830 students across 197 classes. The school is far smaller today, at around 1,768 students, but its musical reputation has only grown: it is now one of New Taipei City's five officially designated music-program elementary schools, with a concert-hall-standard auditorium built during a major campus rebuild between 2013 and 2020.

碧華國小於民國62年（1973年）8月1日創校，首任校長為鄭超，由鄰近的厚德國小分校而來，正值三重戰後人口持續暴增之際。這波成長之猛烈，據稱使碧華在1979年一度成為全台第二大國小，學生人數高達9,830人、共197班。如今學校規模已大幅縮小，約有1,768名學生，但其音樂教育的名聲卻與日俱增：碧華現為新北市五所官方音樂班特色國小之一，並在民國102年至109年（2013至2020年）的校園大整建中，興建了媲美音樂廳規格的禮堂。
