Zhongshan Elementary School was founded in 1958 in Banqiao's riverside Fuzhou (浮洲) area. Over the decades it has served as a long-running experimental elementary school, piloting national curriculum materials before their nationwide rollout. The campus underwent a two-phase reconstruction beginning in 2017 and completed in 2023, and the school shares its Fuzhou-area campus cluster with Daguan Junior High and Elementary Schools and National Overseas Chinese Senior High School.
中山國小創立於民國47年（1958年），位於板橋浮洲地區。多年來一直是實驗性國小，長期擔任全國課程教材試辦先驅。校園於2017年起展開兩階段改建工程，2023年完工。學校與大觀國中、大觀國小及華僑高中同屬浮洲地區的學校聚落。
