New Taipei Municipal Banqiao Senior High School

Banqiao Senior High School traces back to 1946, when it was established as Taipei County Banqiao Junior High School. A senior high division was added in 1950 and formalized in 1952, and the school became municipal in 2000. Today it runs 61 classes, including three gifted math-and-science classes and dedicated resource classes. Its campus was historically home to two large, ancient Bodhi trees, which gave rise to its enduring nickname, the “Bodhi Garden” (菩提園) — and nearly eighty years of history make it one of Banqiao's oldest and most prestigious schools.

板橋高中前身為民國35年（1946年）創立的臺北縣立板橋初級中學，民國39年（1950年）增設高中部，民國41年（1952年）正式定制，民國89年（2000年）改制為市立高中。目前全校共61班，其中包含三班數理資優班及資源班。校園內曾有兩株古老的菩提樹，因此有「菩提園」的美稱，將近八十年的校史也使其成為板橋歷史最悠久、聲望最高的學校之一。
