Asia University was founded in 2001 (ROC 90) and took its current name in 2005. The university is organized around three academic clusters — Health, Management, and Information Technology — and its campus is home to the Asia University Museum of Modern Art, designed by Pritzker Prize laureate Tadao Ando. It is the first university-campus museum in the world by Ando, giving Asia University a cultural landmark unlike any other campus in Taiwan.
亞洲大學創立於民國90年（2001年），民國94年（2005年）更名為亞洲大學。學校以健康、管理、資訊三大學術領域為核心，校園內設有由普立茲克獎得主安藤忠雄設計的亞洲現代美術館——這是安藤忠雄在全球第一座設於大學校園內的美術館，為亞洲大學校園增添了獨一無二的文化地標。
