Anxi Junior High School

Anxi Junior High was named in 1994 and opened its doors in 1997, taking its name from Anxi County in Fujian Province — the ancestral home of most of Sanxia's early Han Chinese settlers. Today the school serves around 800 students across 26 classes, including resource and kindergarten classes, supported by 102 teachers. In 2009 it added a math and science gifted program. For years the campus was home to a beloved Shiba Inu named "Cola," who even appeared in a New Taipei City promotional film before his death in 2022.

安溪國中於民國83年（1994年）定名，民國86年（1997年）正式開校，校名取自福建省安溪縣——三峽早期漢人移民多數的原鄉。目前學校約有800名學生、26個班級（含資源班與幼兒園班），共102位教師。民國98年（2009年）增設數理資優班。多年來校園中有一隻深受師生喜愛的柴犬「可樂」，甚至曾出演新北市宣傳影片，於2022年過世。
