A name built from two neighborhoods.
Anhe Junior High was approved for establishment in 1993 and opened in 1994, on a spacious 5.2-hectare campus that today serves roughly 1,300 students. Its name, "An-He," combines the names of the two founding catchment neighborhoods, Fu'an Village (福安里) and Xiehe Village (協和里).
安和國中於民國82年(1993年)獲准籌設,民國83年(1994年)正式招生,校地達5.2公頃,目前約有1,300名學生。校名「安和」取自兩個創校學區里——福安里與協和里的名字組合而成。
