Zhuwei Junior High School

Zhuwei Junior High was founded in 1968 and renamed Taoyuan Municipal Zhuwei Junior High in 2014. The school brands itself as a "創客校園" (Maker Campus) on its official site, emphasizing hands-on maker and STEM education, under the school motto "誠毅勤樸" (Sincerity, Determination, Diligence, Simplicity). It has had 13 principals since founding, with the current principal taking office in August 2025. Zhuwei's school zone covers Sanshi, Guolin, Zhuwei, Haikou, and Shalun villages — a broad stretch of Dayuan's low-lying coastal communities, sharing part of the Houcuo zone with Dayuan Junior High.

竹圍國中創立於1968年（民國57年），2014年更名為市立竹圍國中。學校官網自我定位為「創客校園」，強調動手實作與STEM教育，校訓為「誠毅勤樸」。創校以來歷經13任校長，現任校長於2025年8月上任。竹圍國中學區涵蓋三石、菓林、竹圍、海口與沙崙等村，範圍廣及大園沿海低窪地帶，並與大園國中共同分擔部分后厝學區。
