Guoxi Elementary School

Guoxi Elementary has a history stretching back before 1946, when it historically operated a branch campus at Da'an — that branch later became fully independent as today's Da'an Elementary in 1947. In recent years, Guoxi Elementary has drawn attention for participating in the Ministry of Education's cross-disciplinary Aesthetic Education Pioneer Program with its tea-and-music themed program "茶香琴韻樂音揚" (Tea Aroma, Zither Rhyme, Music Resounding), an award-winning initiative that blends local tea culture with the arts.

過溪國小的歷史可追溯至民國35年（1946年）以前，當時曾在大鞍設有分校，該分校於民國36年（1947年）獨立設校，成為今日的大鞍國小。近年來，過溪國小因參與教育部跨領域美感教育推廣計畫「茶香琴韻樂音揚」課程而備受矚目，這項獲獎課程將在地茶文化與藝術教育巧妙結合。
