Zhuoxi Elementary School

Zhuoxi Elementary sits in Zhuoxi Village, the namesake settlement and administrative center of Zhuoxi Township. The school includes an attached kindergarten and, like its neighbors across the township, serves a predominantly Bunun Indigenous student body. Alongside archery, the school is known for keeping alive Pasibutbut (八部合音), the Bunun's extraordinary eight-part polyphonic chant recognized internationally as one of the world's most distinctive vocal traditions.

卓溪國小座落於卓溪村——卓溪鄉的同名聚落與行政中心。學校附設幼兒園，如同全鄉其他學校，學生以布農族原住民為主。除了射箭活動，學校也致力傳承「祈禱小米豐收歌」（Pasibutbut，八部合音）——這項布農族獨特的複音吟唱傳統，在國際上被視為世界最具特色的人聲藝術之一。
