Zhuolan Elementary was founded in 1906 during the Japanese colonial era, making it one of the oldest schools in the township. The school sits at the southernmost tip of Miaoli County, bordering Taichung. Among its historic assets is a preserved Japanese-era dormitory, now lovingly restored as the "Hakka Poet Zhan Bing Story Literature Museum and Raoping Hakka Language Park," which honors a locally significant Hakka literary figure.
卓蘭國小創立於日治時期明治39年(1906年),是全鎮歷史最悠久的學校之一。學校位於苗栗縣最南端,與台中市交界。校內保存一棟日治時期宿舍,經修復後成為「客家詩人詹冰故事文學館暨饒平客語園區」,用以紀念這位在地重要的客家文學家。
