The school began in 1988 as a branch of a nearby institution and became fully independent in 1991, a common growth pattern for Linyuan's coastal-village schools.

Land reclaimed from the sea.

🌊

The village of 中芸 grew directly from coastal salt-flat land, and the school's very foundations reflect this — reclaimed from brackish tidal fishpond terrain typical of Linyuan's aquaculture villages. See the Kaohsiung county page for more on the region.
