Zhongxiao Elementary School

Zhongxiao Elementary sits across from a fish market at the foot of Huqiu Mountain, with a view over Zhengbin fishing harbor. The school's own materials describe its history as mirroring "the rise and fall of Zhengbin fishing harbor" — as the harbor declined and the surrounding community aged and shrank, the school's enrollment shrank with it, now numbering roughly 100 students across six classes. That small scale has become a strength: Zhongxiao is the only school in Zhongzheng District able to fully implement small-class, individualized teaching at this level, and it has recently built up strengths in table tennis and track and field.

忠孝國小座落於虎仔山腳，正對魚市場，俯瞰正濱漁港。校方資料形容自身歷史正如「正濱漁港的興衰」——隨著漁港沒落、社區人口老化與外流，學校在校生人數也隨之減少，如今僅約100名學生、六個班級。這樣的小規模也成為特色：忠孝國小是中正區唯一能在此規模下完整落實小班個別化教學的學校，近年並在桌球與田徑項目表現亮眼。
