Zhongli Elementary was founded on December 26, 1898, under Japanese rule, making it the oldest school in this batch — it was formally named Zhongli Public School in 1900. Over the following decades the school was renamed many times: Nanshi Public School (1916), Dalun Public School (1926), Zhongli No. 1 Public School (1936), Xingnan National School (1941), Zhongli National School (1947), Zhongli National Elementary School (1968), and finally Taoyuan City Zhongli District Zhongli National Elementary School (2014). The school celebrated its 124th anniversary with a new school-building dedication attended by two Taoyuan mayors.
中壢國小創立於明治31年（1898年）12月26日，是本批次中歷史最悠久的學校，1900年正式定名為中壢公學校。此後歷經多次更名：南勢公學校（1916年）、大崙公學校（1926年）、中壢第一公學校（1936年）、興南國民學校（1941年）、中壢國民學校（1947年）、中壢國民小學（1968年），並於2014年改名為桃園市中壢區中壢國民小學。學校曾舉辦124週年校慶暨新校舍落成典禮，兩位桃園市長皆出席。
