Taitung County Chihpen (Zhiben) Junior High School

Chihpen Junior High was founded in 1968 and, with roughly 117 students, remains one of the smaller junior highs in Taitung City. Its signature offering is a "Music, Dance and Cultural Creativity Experimental Class," which places strong emphasis on Indigenous performing arts. The school takes its name from Zhiben, a district known throughout Taiwan for its hot springs and home to a significant Puyuma community — placing the school squarely within one of Taitung City's most recognizable neighborhoods.

知本國中創立於1968年（民國57年），全校學生約117人，是臺東市規模較小的國中之一。學校的招牌特色是「音樂舞蹈與文化創意實驗班」，特別著重原住民表演藝術的傳承與發展。校名源自知本——一個以溫泉聞名全臺、也是卑南族重要聚落所在地的地區，使學校座落於臺東市最具知名度的社區之一。
