From a temple classroom to a modern campus.
Zhenxing Elementary traces its origins to April 1943, when it began as a branch class of Yanpu National School, holding lessons in a local temple under teacher Zheng Dengke. It became an independently established school the following year, 1944, under the name "Kaohsiung Prefecture Pingtung District Zhenxing National School," with the Yanpu Elementary principal initially serving concurrently as its head. The school has since rebuilt its old buildings with modern electronic and digital classroom equipment, and maintains a detailed published chronology of its history.
