Zhangshan Elementary School

Zhangshan Elementary School sits in Lavulan Village (拉芙蘭里) — a place-name reflecting the local Bunun community's own name for the area — deep in Kaohsiung's mountainous Taoyuan District. The campus was damaged during Typhoon Morakot in 2009 and was rebuilt with assistance from the Red Cross Society, Taiwan, with reconstruction completed around 2012. Alongside the standard curriculum, the school promotes Bunun cultural and ethnic education. (Note: while some listings refer to this school as an 'experimental' national elementary school, our research did not turn up a source confirming a formal experimental-education designation, so this page refers to it simply as Zhangshan Elementary School.)

樟山國小位於拉芙蘭里——這個地名反映了當地布農族社群自己的稱呼——深處高雄市桃源區山區。2009年八八風災（莫拉克颱風）重創校舍，後於紅十字會（台灣）協助下重建，工程約於2012年完成。學校在一般課程之外，同時推動布農族文化與民族教育。（說明：部分資料以「實驗國民小學」稱呼本校，但我們並未查得證實正式「實驗教育」身分的資料來源，故本頁僅以「樟山國民小學」稱呼。）
