Changchun Elementary School

Changchun Elementary School was founded on August 20, 1959, with Cao Chunfu serving as its first principal. Its first intake of six classes had to borrow classroom space from Zhongzheng and Chang'an elementary schools before moving into its own new building in August 1960. The school was renamed "Changchun National Elementary School" in 1968 with the shift to nine-year compulsory education.

In November 2025, the school held its 60th-anniversary "長春六十 活力奔馳" celebration, documented extensively on a dedicated anniversary microsite. Current principal Zhan Yizheng took office in 2013. The school's name is directly tied to Changchun Road, itself named after the mainland Chinese city of Changchun as part of Taipei's postwar street-naming scheme — a naming convention especially dense throughout Zhongshan District.

長春國小創校於1959年（民國48年）8月20日，首任校長為曹春甫。首屆招收六個班級，初期借用中正國小與長安國小的教室上課，直到1960年8月才遷入自己的新校舍。1968年因九年國教實施，更名為「長春國民小學」。

2025年（民國114年）11月，學校舉辦「長春六十 活力奔馳」六十週年校慶，並設立專屬紀念網站詳細記錄相關活動。現任校長詹益政於2013年（民國102年）就任。學校校名直接取自長春路，而長春路之名則源自中國大陸城市長春——這是臺北市戰後將中國地理名稱對應至城市街道格局的命名慣例，在中山區尤為密集。
