Chang'an Elementary School

Chang'an Elementary School was founded in 1948, placing it among the first wave of postwar Taipei schools established even before the 1949 Nationalist retreat to Taiwan reshaped the city's population. Located on Jilin Road, in the dense grid of mainland-China-named streets at the historic core of Zhongshan District, the school has had fourteen principals since its founding, with current principal Yan Shuozhu taking office in 2018.

A coeducational public elementary school offering all six standard grade levels, Chang'an counts among its notable alumni Zhou Haozhen (pen name Zhou Ning), former editor-in-chief at Far Stream Publishing Company (遠流出版公司), one of Taiwan's major publishing houses.

長安國小創校於1948年（民國37年），是戰後臺北市最早興建的一批學校之一，甚至早於1949年國民政府遷臺後人口結構的重大改變。學校座落於吉林路，位於中山區以中國大陸地名命名之棋盤街道的歷史核心地帶。創校至今已歷十四任校長，現任校長顏碩珠於2018年（民國107年）就任。

學校為男女兼收、設有完整六個年級的公立國小。知名校友包括曾任遠流出版公司總編輯的周浩正（筆名周寧），是臺灣重要出版界人物之一。
