Longsheng Elementary School

Longsheng Elementary began in 1972 as a branch of Tanwen Elementary, becoming an independent school in 1979. Sitting on a small hillside beside the Longsheng overpass along Provincial Highway 1, the school has faced the challenges of rural depopulation common across Zaoqiao's hill villages, and today operates as an endangered "mini school" with fewer than 30 students. Rather than close, Longsheng joined Taiwan's public Jena Plan experimental education program starting in 2023, reinventing its approach to keep the community school alive.

龍昇國小前身為1972年設立的談文國小分校，1979年（民國68年）獨立設校。校址位於省道台1線龍昇陸橋旁的小山坡上，長年面臨造橋鄉丘陵地區普遍的人口外流問題，如今是一所學生人數不足30人的「迷你小學」。學校並未選擇裁併，而是自2023年起加入台灣公立學校耶拿計畫（Jena Plan）實驗教育，透過教學創新讓這所社區學校得以延續生機。
