A school built by community donation.
Zaoqiao Junior High began in 1966 as a branch of Zhunan Junior High, and became an independent county junior high school in 1968. Its founding was made possible when the local community donated 2.1293 hectares of land for the campus in 1966 — a grassroots contribution that reflects the township's investment in its own children's education. In 2021, the school celebrated its 53rd anniversary, unveiling the "Dengyun Ge" (登雲閣) community reading station as part of the celebrations.
