Zaoqiao Elementary School

Zaoqiao Elementary began in 1916 as a branch campus during the Japanese colonial era, becoming an independent school in 1921. The school marked its centennial in 2015, having sustained over 100 years of continuous operation. Over the decades, Zaoqiao Elementary became the mother campus to several other schools in the township, including the Jinshui branch (established 1937) and the Tanwen branch (established 1953), both of which later became independent schools in their own right. The school is also a designated center for promoting Taiwanese folk and traditional sports.

造橋國小創校於1916年（大正5年）的分校階段，1921年（大正10年）獨立設校。學校於2015年舉辦建校百年校慶，見證超過百年不曾間斷的辦學歷程。多年來，造橋國小陸續成為錦水分校（1937年設立）與談文分校（1953年設立）的母校，兩校其後皆獨立設校。學校同時也是推廣台灣民俗傳統體育的指定學校。
