Yongfeng Senior High School opened on August 1, 1999, as Taoyuan's first “complete middle school” (完全中學) — a single campus combining junior-high and senior-high divisions, built to absorb the area's fast-growing student population. Today it enrolls more than 2,400 students across six grades and 39 classes per level. In 2021 the school introduced bilingual experimental classes, and it maintains sister-school exchanges with institutions in Japan, South Korea, and the United States.
永豐高中創校於民國88年（1999年）8月1日，是桃園第一所涵蓋國中部與高中部的「完全中學」，專為吸納當地快速成長的學生人口而設立。目前全校六個年級，每年級39班，學生人數超過2,400人。學校自2021年起增設雙語實驗班，並與日本、南韓、美國的姊妹校保持交流。

Yongfeng's campus sits at the literal crossroads of Bade, Taoyuan, and Zhongli districts, within the fast-growing suburban belt that has spread outward from Taoyuan International Airport since the late 20th century. Its founding as the county's first “complete” junior-and-senior-high school was a direct response to that boom — a pattern repeated across many of Bade's newer campuses.
