Yong'an Elementary School

Yong'an Elementary serves the community of Yong'an Village in Luye Township's tea and rice highlands. For decades, the school operated the Yonglong branch campus, established in 1973 to serve four remote communities before it closed in 2013 as the surrounding population declined. Yong'an maintains an education trust fund account with the local Farmers' Association, an unusual community-support arrangement that has helped sustain the school over the years. Locally, it is sometimes called a "green elementary school of the valley."

永安國小服務鹿野鄉茶葉與稻米高地的永安村社區。學校曾設有永隆分校，成立於民國62年（1973年），服務四個偏遠部落，直到民國102年（2013年）因周邊人口減少而裁併。永安國小與在地農會設有教育基金專戶，這項不常見的社區支持機制多年來協助學校永續經營。當地人有時稱它為「縱谷綠色小學」。
