Yixing Elementary School

Yixing Elementary traces its lineage to a bamboo-and-wood Japanese-era Aboriginal education post named "Matai," which was renamed "Yixing Branch Class" after 1945, upgraded to a full branch school in 1960, and transferred into Jiaxing Elementary School's administration in 1965. Today, Yixing is administratively a branch campus of Jiaxing Elementary (listed separately here because Hsinchu County's own school directory lists it as its own entry), and it has had eleven named principals since 1981. The school is currently being rebuilt after a 2024 incident in which a concrete rooftop block nearly struck children on campus; reconstruction is expected to be completed around 2027.

義興國小的校史可追溯至日治時期一處以竹木搭建、名為「馬泰」的蕃童教育所，1945年後更名為「義興分班」，1960年升格為分校，1965年正式劃歸嘉興國小管轄。如今義興在行政上屬於嘉興國小的分校（因新竹縣官方學校名冊將其列為獨立條目，本站亦另闢專頁介紹），自1981年以來已歷經十一任主任。學校目前正因2024年一起混凝土屋頂構件幾乎砸中學童的意外事件而進行重建，預計2027年前後完工。
