Yifang Elementary was founded in 1973. The school relocated to a new campus in 2007; its original roughly 1,989-square-meter campus has since been repurposed as an arts and culture activation space for local artists. The current campus covers nearly 1.6 hectares, serving about 300 students across 12 classes, in the heart of the New Beitou (新北投) hot-spring resort area.
義方國小創校於民國62年（1973年）。學校於民國96年（2007年）遷至新校址，原約1,989平方公尺的舊校地，如今已轉型為在地藝術家使用的藝文活化空間。現址校地近1.6公頃，學生人數約300人，設有12班，座落於新北投溫泉觀光區核心地帶。
