Yichang Junior High School

Yichang Junior High was officially established in 1968, with construction beginning on April 28, 1969, and classes opening that August. Part of the school's original campus — 2.3 hectares — was donated by neighboring Yichang Elementary School, a gesture that reflects the close-knit cooperation among Ji'an's schools as the township grew. Beyond its regular junior-high program, Yichang runs a student wind-band program with county and national competition recognition, operates an evening supplementary school for adult learners, and maintains a dedicated career-exploration center for students planning their next steps.

宜昌國中於1968年正式設立，1969年4月28日動工興建，同年8月開學。校園原始用地中有2.3公頃是由鄰近的宜昌國小捐贈，這份情誼也反映出吉安鄉發展過程中各校之間的緊密合作。除了正規國中課程外，宜昌國中也經營學生管樂團，屢獲縣賽與全國賽事肯定；並設有補校提供成人教育，以及生涯探索中心，協助學生規劃未來方向。
